Discount Calculator

Enter original price and discount % to see final price and amount saved.

What is the Discount Calculator?

A discount calculator tells you what you will actually pay after a percentage is knocked off, and how much you save in the process. It is the tool for sale shopping, checking whether a "40% off" deal is as good as it sounds, or setting prices if you run a small shop. Instead of doing the mental maths at the till, you type the original price and the discount and get the sale price and savings instantly.

How to use the Discount Calculator

  1. Enter the original price.
  2. Enter the discount percentage.
  3. Read the final price and the amount you save.

Discount Calculator formula

Discount amount = Original price × (Discount % ÷ 100). Final price = Original price − Discount amount.

Example

25% off a jacket

A €80 jacket at 25% off saves €20, so you pay €60.
